Terms & Policies

Reservation Policy

 

Scoop & Stride, LLC pet services require advance booking to ensure seamless coordination with our sitters' availability. We prioritize providing ample time and attention to your furry companions, and reservations can be made via our website's service request form or email. Please keep in mind that services are only confirmed once acknowledged and invoiced by Scoop & Stride, LLC, with full payment received.

Late Booking Policy

 

We recognize that emergencies and unforeseen plans may arise, and we strive to accommodate short-notice requests to the best of our ability. Please be aware that all late bookings are subject to applicable surcharges. Additionally, visit requests received after the close of business hours will be considered as of the next business day.

  1. ​Weekly Dog Walk Services: Any visit requested with less than 2 business days’ notice will incur a $10/visit surcharge. Any visits requested for the same day will incur a $25/visit surcharge.
  2. ​Drop-In Services: Any visits requested with less than 2  business days’ notice will incur a $10/visit surcharge. Any visits requested for the same day will incur a $25/visit surcharge.
  3. ​Overnight Services: Any requests made with less than 2 business days’ notice will incur a $30/night surcharge.

 

Payment Policy

Payment is due in full prior to services commencing, via the online Scoop & Stride client portal, unless special arrangements are agreed upon in writing by both parties. Scoop & Stride, LLC retains the right to cancel any reservations not paid for by the following deadlines:

  1. ​Weekly Dog Walking Services: Payment is due by every Sunday of each week. A 20% late payment fee for the entire weekly service will be added if payment is not received by Wednesday of each week.
  2. ​All Other Services: Payment is due upon booking services.

Cancellation Policy

​

When you book visits with us, you’re not only scheduling service but also reserving your pet sitter’s time. Therefore, we require advance notice of any cancellations so that we are able to adjust sitter’s schedules for other clients accordingly. Cancelled services are subject to the following cancellation fees:

    • Weekly Dog Walking Services: 

      1. By the end of the business day prior to the date of service: no charge (full refund or credit).

      2. By 8:00 am on the day of service: 50% charged (50% refund or credit).

      3. After 8:00 am on the day of service: no refund or credit.

  1. All Other Services (Non-Holiday):

    1. More than 5 business days prior to the start of service: no charge (full refund or credit).

    2. Between 2-4 business days prior to the start of service: 50% of total service charged (50% refund or credit).

    3. Less than 2 business days prior to the start of service: no refund or credit.

  2. All Other Services (Holiday):

    1. More than 10 business days prior to the start of service: no charge (full refund or credit).

    2. Between 5-10 business days prior to the start of service: 50% of total service charged (50% refund or credit).

    3. Less than 5 business days prior to the start of service: no refund or credit.
